💨 Abstract

In Maharashtra's Beed, villagers started a 'jal samadhi' protest, demanding the arrest of absconding accused in the brutal murder of sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh. The murder is linked to an extortion case, with three persons arrested so far, and three others still at large. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis assured justice and vowed to not tolerate criminal rule.
