West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has expressed concern over the health of junior doctors on a five-day hunger strike and urged them to end it. He has promised a peace meeting to address their concerns, including demands for justice for a deceased female doctor, removal of Health Secretary NS Nigam, and improvements in hospital facilities and police protection. The meeting will be held soon.
