💨 Abstract
West Bengal's Power Secretary and the Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Waterways have resigned from Damodar Valley Corporation and the Damodar Valley Reservoir Regulation Committee, respectively, over the release of water from Damodar Valley Corporation reservoirs. The state government claims the center released water without consultation, causing flooding in several districts, while the center denies this and says it informed state officials at every stage.
