💨 Abstract
The West Bengal transport department launched an initiative to upskill about 7,000 workers from 500+ registered garages across the state. The focus is on updating their knowledge of new automobile technologies and vehicle models. The project, monitored by the Department of Technical Education, Training, and Skill Development, will utilize the 'Utkarsh Bangla' initiative for skill training. Additionally, workers will be encouraged to enroll in the state's welfare and social security programs.
