💨 Abstract

A 46-year-old undertrial prisoner, Sohrab Khan, was found dead in Bihar's Araria district jail on April 19. The prison authorities claimed he died by suicide, but his family alleged custodial torture. The body was sent for post-mortem examination, and a thorough investigation into his death has been demanded.
