💨 Abstract
The BJP in Karnataka criticized the ruling Congress for holding a celebration event in Vijayanagara district while Bengaluru and other parts of the state were severely flooded due to heavy rains. Senior Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, attended the event. BJP leader R Ashoka accused the Congress of neglecting the flood situation and blamed them for canceling development projects worth Rs 1,600 crore.
