💨 Abstract
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the BJP's membership in Assam has surpassed 40 lakh, with a target of 50 lakh set for the ongoing membership drive. The drive, conducted online and set to conclude on October 9, aims to enroll 40,000 members per constituency. The party has already achieved the target in many upper Assam constituencies.
