The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized Hindenburg Research, a US-based short seller, accusing it of releasing sponsored and manipulated reports against India's growing economic power. BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla called the reports an act of economic anarchism and economic terrorism, and questioned Rahul Gandhi's relationship with Hindenburg.
