The Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) has announced an emergency 'Kisan Panchayat' in Muzaffarnagar on Saturday in response to opposition towards farmer leader Rakesh Tikait's participation at a rally against the Pahalgam terror attack. The BKU president, Naresh Tikait, alleged the incident was a pre-planned conspiracy by a political party to weaken the farmers' movement.
