đź’¨ Abstract
A plane in Kolkata was isolated for a security check after a 26-year-old passenger, traveling from Imphal to Mumbai with a layover, told security he had a bomb. The alert was declared specific, leading to the implementation of standard security procedures. The flight, IndiGo 6E 5227, was delayed as 179 of 186 passengers had already boarded. Security measures have been heightened at Indian airports following recent military tensions with Pakistan.
