💨 Abstract

Tension arose in Palakkad, Kerala, after police searched a hotel for alleged black money linked to the by-election. Rooms of political leaders, including Congress politicians, were inspected. Objections were raised over the absence of female officers during a woman leader's room search. Congress leaders and other parties accused the police of targeting their leaders.
