Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan criticized Rahul Gandhi for claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi agreed to a caste census out of fear. Pradhan accused Gandhi of misleading the public and demanded an apology. The government recently announced including caste enumeration in the next census, a move seen as political.
