The West Bengal government has announced the 'Biswa Bangla Sharad Samman 2024' awards for Durga Puja committees across the state, recognizing excellence in categories such as idol, pandal, social awareness, and branding. The awards will be decided by a jury and announced in two weeks. The awards also extend to Durga Puja celebrations outside Kolkata and internationally.
