In the Union Budget 2025-26, the Indian government has allocated Rs 1,071.05 crore to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), a nominal increase from the ongoing fiscal. The funds will be used for establishment-related expenses, modernization of training centers, establishment of technical and forensic support units, comprehensive modernization, land purchase, and construction of offices and residences for the CBI.
