The Central University of Odisha (CUO) has established a germplasm plot at its Landiguda campus in Koraput for studying indigenous crops like rice, finger millet, Niger, millet, maize, and wild yam. The aim is to conserve these traditional crops and potentially reintroduce them to mainstream agriculture.
