The Indian government has sent 100 teams to inspect the Jal Jeevan Mission in various states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. The mission aims to provide rural households with regular, long-term access to clean drinking water. This decision follows a review meeting chaired by Cabinet Secretary T V Somanathan.
