💨 Abstract
Indore authorities have implemented a Rs 1,000 reward scheme to combat begging, which has received a good response from citizens. Over 200 people have called a provided number to report beggars, and six of these informants have received their rewards. The authorities have also sent 400 beggars to rehabilitation centers and 64 children to childcare institutions as part of a nationwide effort to make 10 cities beggar-free.
