💨 Abstract

Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud criticized the practice of lawyers repeatedly mentioning cases for urgent hearings, using multiple lawyers to do so, and manipulating the court system. He stated that he would not tolerate this practice as it compromises his personal credibility. The comments were made during a hearing related to a lapse of mining lease.
