💨 Abstract
A Class 8 student allegedly committed suicide in Surat, Gujarat, due to school punishment for non-payment of fees. The student, 14, hanged herself at home after her parents failed to pay a fee of Rs 15,000. The school is accused of not letting her take exams and making her stand outside her classroom due to the unpaid fees. The police and education department are investigating the allegations.
