Trinamool Congress MP Saket Gokhale accused the Union government of spending nearly Rs 8,000 crore from the Swachh Bharat funds on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal PR. He alleged that almost every government program is dedicated towards promoting Modi, and the amount spent on advertisements is "mind-boggling."
