The Jammu and Kashmir Congress Legislature Party will meet on October 14 to elect its leader, following the recent elections where Congress secured six seats and National Conference won 42. The chosen leader's name will be sent for approval by the party high command. Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah was elected as the NC's legislative party leader on October 13.
