💨 Abstract

In response to recent drone attacks from Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met with civil society members to discuss public safety and preparedness. Abdullah urged calm and vigilance, emphasizing reliable information sources. He outlined measures for enhancing public awareness and strengthening emergency responses, including the use of local media, emergency signals, and deployment of police in sensitive areas. The government is ensuring essential commodity supplies, high-alert emergency services, communal harmony, healthcare readiness, and aid for affected livestock.
