Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of the Tata Group and a veteran industrialist, passed away at the age of 86. The chief ministers of West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha expressed their condolences, stating his legacy will live on forever. In 2008, the Tata Group moved the Nano factory out of West Bengal's Singur over a land acquisition controversy.
