The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) Central Circle will investigate the train accident in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district where 12 passengers were killed and 15 injured when they stood on tracks amid a fire rumor. The CRS will record statements from passengers and witnesses, and speak to crew members involved in the accident. The CRS is responsible for train travel safety and operations under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
