💨 Abstract
A 50-year-old policeman, J M Pathan, was killed in Gujarat's Surendranagar district while trying to intercept an SUV suspected of bootlegging. Acting on a tip-off, Pathan and his team were blocking the road when the suspected vehicle and a trailer passed. While trying to move out of the way, Pathan was hit by another SUV's headlight and sustained severe head injuries.
