In an encounter with security forces along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, three female Naxalites were killed, suspected to be from the strongest military formation of Naxals. The gunfight occurred during a massive anti-Maoist operation launched in the Bastar region, involving around 10,000 personnel. A huge cache of weapons, explosives, and Maoist materials were recovered from the scene.
