Union Minister Chirag Paswan stated that Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is considering participating in the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections. A decision on whether to contest under the NDA alliance or independently will be made soon. Paswan met Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the elections, expressing positive sentiments about the meeting. The party did not contest in the recent Haryana and J-K assembly elections but supported the BJP.
