Delhi airport operator DIAL has temporarily suspended upgradation works on runway RW 10/28 due to air traffic congestion and flight delays. The runway will reopen in the first week of May, and remaining upgrade activities will be deferred for a month. The decision was made to prevent delays during the winter season and to restore the airport's arrival capacity, which was reduced due to the runway closure.
