💨 Abstract
The Delhi Assembly plans to hire individuals who can mimic langur sounds to deter monkeys from entering the premises. This humane method aims to address the persistent issue of monkeys causing disruptions and safety risks. The Public Works Department has issued a tender to deploy trained personnel, who will work eight-hour shifts on weekdays and Saturdays. The initiative follows previous incidents, including a monkey interrupting a legislative session in 2017.
