In New Delhi, Delhi Police arrested Jitender Gill, a UK resident and Indian national, in connection with a major drug haul. Gill is accused of being part of a drug cartel and supervising its operations in India, before planning to escape following the arrest of four members. He had allegedly lived in the UK for 25 years without citizenship.
