The Delhi government has approved a Rs 387-crore project to establish hybrid courts in districts for both online and in-person proceedings. The project was fast-tracked following a Delhi High Court directive to expedite the sanctioning of funds for hybrid hearings in 691 subordinate courts in the national capital. The project will be executed by the Public Works Department (PWD) under the supervision of the Law Department.
