💨 Abstract
The Delhi government has initiated a project to set up an AI-based traffic management system, the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS), using ANPR technology. The system, which will be deployed at 500 key junctions, will monitor and detect various traffic violations in real-time, such as speeding, red light infractions, mobile phone usage, seat-belt and helmet usage, and overloaded vehicles.
