💨 Abstract
The Delhi High Court has ordered the removal of deepfake videos of Dr. Naresh Trehan, Medanta Hospital's Chairperson, from social media. The court issued the order on a plea by Medanta Hospital and Dr. Trehan, stating that the fabricated videos were promoting unapproved and uncertified medicines for illicit commercial gains. Social media intermediaries were directed to take down the videos within 36 hours from the receipt of the order.
