Delhi Police has recorded 1,076 cases of alleged Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violations, arresting or detaining 34,250 people. The cases were lodged between January 7 and February 3, the last day of campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections. The police have also seized illegal firearms, liquor, drugs, cash, and precious metals in large quantities.
