💨 Abstract

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, a convicted rapist, has requested a 20-day parole, days before Haryana Assembly polls. His application, sent during the model code of conduct, has been forwarded to the election department for justification of the "emergent and compelling" reasons. If granted, he plans to stay in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh during the parole period.
