💨 Abstract

Tension erupted in Dharavi slum, Asia's largest, on Saturday as residents opposed the demolition of an alleged illegal portion of a mosque by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). After talks with mosque trustees, the BMC agreed to give them four to five days to remove the encroached portion. Police were deployed to prevent any incidents.
