💨 Abstract

The Delhi Police's IFSO unit has dismantled an international digital-arrest fraud syndicate, which duped a 92-year-old retired surgeon out of Rs 2.2 crore by impersonating government officials via video calls. The syndicate tricked the victim into believing multiple FIRs were registered against him, forcing him to transfer funds into fake accounts.
