💨 Abstract
Displaced by ethnic conflict in Manipur, many internally displaced people (IDPs) have taken up vegetable cultivation as a stress-buster and a means to divert their minds from hardships. At Sajiwa, in Imphal East district, one of the largest pre-fabricated housing complexes for IDPs, around 150 residents are cultivating tomatoes, cabbage, and potatoes on adjacent arable land.
