A strike by DTC contractual bus drivers and conductors in Delhi continues to disrupt public transportation, exacerbating the inconvenience of commuters amidst severe air pollution. The strike is over demands for equal pay and better working conditions. The Delhi Environment Minister has appealed to the DTC employees to work together due to the medical emergency caused by pollution. The DTC has formed a committee to consider the demands of the contractual employees.
