💨 Abstract

A Delhi court granted bail to 10 TMC leaders, including Derek O’Brien and Sagarika Ghose, for participating in a protest outside the Election Commission of India in April 2023 despite a prohibitory order. The court observed that the chargesheet was filed without the arrest of the accused. The protest was directed against central probe agencies like the CBI, NIA, ED, and Income Tax Department, with TMC alleging they were targeting opposition parties.
