💨 Abstract

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has petitioned the Calcutta High Court for a CBI probe against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and senior police officials. The ED alleges obstruction during its raids on political consultancy firm I-PAC and its director, Pratik Jain, claiming that Banerjee interfered with the search and seized evidence. The ED seeks a CBI investigation and the seizure of digital devices and documents taken during the raids.
