A 65-year-old woman was admitted after getting burn injuries while trying to douse a forest fire that had reached her farm in a village in Pauri tehsil. She was referred to AIIMS Rishikesh, where she died during treatment in the early hours of Sunday. A case has been registered against four people under the Indian Forest Act for setting fire in the state.
