Sharad Pawar, NCP leader, has appealed to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to review and improve security arrangements for public representatives due to concerns over ongoing cases of murder, kidnapping, and extortion in Beed district. The appeal comes after the brutal killing of Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, who was allegedly murdered for resisting extortion attempts from an energy firm.
