Champai Soren, former Jharkhand Chief Minister, was hospitalized due to blood sugar-related complications on October 6. He was admitted to Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur and is reportedly in stable condition. Soren, aged 67, joined the BJP in August and was appointed chief minister in February, following Hemant Soren's resignation and arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.
