💨 Abstract
Former BJP MP John Barla joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC), alleging that BJP leadership obstructed his efforts to aid tribal people and tea garden workers. Barla, who was denied a ticket for the 2024 elections, claimed that the BJP blocked a Rs 160 crore hospital project he initiated. He praised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for providing a platform to serve the people.
