💨 Abstract
Apple supplier Foxconn has instructed hiring agencies in India to remove age, gender, and marital criteria from job advertisements for iPhone assembly workers, following a Reuters investigation that found discrimination against married women. Foxconn has also told agencies not to mention its name in ads and threatened to terminate contracts for non-compliance. The changes aim to align recruitment practices with Apple and Foxconn's anti-discrimination policies.
