NCP leader Sharad Pawar accused Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of attempting to give a religious color to the upcoming assembly polls by raking up the issue of "vote jihad". Fadnavis, in response to a purported appeal by an Islamic scholar for "vote-Jihad" against the BJP-led government, had called for a "dharma-yudh of votes".
