💨 Abstract

President Droupadi Murmu highlighted the need for increased efforts to promote women-led development in the Indian film industry during the 70th National Film Awards ceremony. She noted that only 15 out of 85 award winners were women and suggested that similar changes should happen in employment and industry. Murmu also emphasized the importance of films and social media in creating societal change and lamented that meaningful films often don't find audiences or are not promoted properly.
