💨 Abstract

Scholars question the existence of Fatima Sheikh, widely believed to be a Muslim female educator who worked with Savitribai Phule in the mid-19th century. Though few written records about her have been discovered, references in letters, registration in a teacher training institute, and a photograph with Savitribai suggest she did exist.
