💨 Abstract
The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) CEO has paid a fine imposed by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for failing to appear before the tribunal regarding sewer waste and solid waste clogging the Shahdara drain. The DJB informed the NGT that steps are being taken to ensure no sewage enters the Shahdara drain, with most unauthorized colonies already sewered and major drain interceptions in place.
